We're always looking for opportunities to advocate for Guix, share it's capabilities and educate people about the value of the freedom it provides.
To have a healthy, sustainable and active project we want to attract new users to Guix and make it fun for existing users. Guix Foundation sponsors the Guix Days development hackathon and supports members to show Guix in their communities.
If you have an idea for showcasing Guix in your community then get in contact with us. Some ideas are:
- Run a stand at an Event
- Do an Installfest so people can try Guix
- Give a talk in a tech community or at a conference
- Teach Guix to students
- Volunteer to organise Guix Summer of Code or Outreachy for Guix
