GNU Guix can be used as a package manager on top of an existing GNU/Linux installation. It can be installed on top of any distribution including Debian, Fedora and Ubuntu. This is useful if you want separation between the system applications and per-user applications. It brings all of Guix's packages and capabilities to any Linux environment for every user.
