By becoming a member of Guix Foundation you'll be joining together with other volunteers to promote the development and promotion of GNU Guix. Anyone can donate to support our mission, while our members also have a voice in our priorities and organise our activities.
If you're interested in GNU Guix and promoting user freedom then we'd love to welcome you as a member. We aim for Guix Foundation to be representative of the global Guix community.
How does membership work
As a volunteer Association our priorities and activities are organised by our members. To learn more about us before joining:

How do I join?
To join Guix Foundation the steps are:
Certify that you are at least 18 years of age
We are only allowed to accept adults as members. The membership form requires that you certify that you're an adult.
Pay the annual membership fee
The Association's membership fee is €10 per year.
To reduce the amount of effort we have to make chasing and reminding members about their annual membership fee we ask that this is setup as a recurring payment through SEPA Direct Debit (or a payment platform) if at all possible.
Optional donation
The only requirement is the membership fee, but if you are going to donate to support Guix then doing so at the same time makes sense. Recurring donations are particularly critical because they help the project to be sustainable. Donating using SEPA Direct Debit have the lowest fees, so more of your money will go to supporting Guix.
