For 2026 there was lots of Guix and Guile at both the Guix Days hackathon and FOSDEM 2026.
This was the tenth anniversary of the Declarative and Minimalistic Computing devroom, and eighth Guix Days. Our thanks to Pjotr Prins and Manolis Ragkousis, who have spearheaded the two events during all these years
There were quite a few talks relevant to GNU Guile and Guix fans:

Guix Days 2026
Guix Days is our annual hackathon and (un)conference. This event is a FOSDEM 2026 fringe event.
Be aware that attendees must abide by the FOSDEM code of conduct.
Guix Days Sustainability
Once again the event happened at ICAB, but due to some scheduling conflict it took place on after FOSDEM (Monday/Tuesday) rather than before it.
To support the event being sustainable registrations were done through Guix Foundations Open Collective page. This approach raised substantionally more funds than our previous approach of requesting funds on the day. To ensure that the event was accessible as possible three ticket levels were used. We were still somewhat limited by the maximum participant numbers at the venue.
