Guix Days 2026

Guix Days has been taking place for two days before FOSDEM (Monday, February 2nd and Tuesday, February 3rd). As in previous years our thanks to ICAB (Institute of Cultural Affairs, Brussels) for hosting the Guix team.
This was the tenth anniversary of the Declarative and Minimalistic Computing devroom, and eighth Guix Days. Our thanks to Pjotr Prins and Manolis Ragkousis, who have spearheaded the two events during all these years - what an amazing effort!
Guix Days is always energising for everyone involved in the project as it's an opportunity to meet other contributors, discuss ideas and generally collaborate.

This year the group was able to celebrate the release of Guix 1.5.0wrangled in large part by Noé Lopez and Rutherther.

Unfortunately, we don't have any recording from it, and as it's informal there aren't any notes - but you can learn a bit more about it on the Liberplanet Wiki and there are often follow-up discussion on the guix-devel mailing list. Noé wrote a nice trip report that's also work checking out.
Immediately after it is FOSDEM, check out this post on the Guix web site for all the different talks that are being given in the Guix and Guile space.
